Ive heard of both of those. I did find so many misconceptions. I wish the world was less chaotic, but what can you do lol.
-
Is that a serious question? Are you really serious. People leave the lds church a lot because they want to sin. Did you vent your self from reality for 20 years. It happens more times than I can count. LOL I know... Im with the missionaries all the time. I take them on splits once a week(maybe two times)lol. They are some crazy guys, but very spiritual. I love them.
-
Awesome. Thats on my next list lol.

Wow dont I feel dumb. Ive seen it in my house all my life and couldve sworn Ive seen a scripture at the bottom. Lucky for you, if it is true, then you don't have anything to worry about. :) God does, you don't. Nope. How do you know god makes it that easy. THis is a test. Am I right? I dont mean to pry, but many people think the way you do to hide a past so that they dont feel so guilty.
-
Really. Ive seen them and heard of them, How big is it?

Finding Darwins God The Discourses Finding light in a dark world The promise of discipleship A brief history of time THree roads to quantum gravity and Ill soon have prophecy key to the future and a histroy of joseph smith by his mother No anti mormon books. Ive read them, but I dont waste money on smut. lol YAYYY just thought I'd let yall know.

God doesnt make it that easy. "I never said it would be easy I only said it would be worth it" -Jesus Christ If every religion is the right one and everyone will return than you are defying god a bit. arent ya?

Bible scholars tell us that this verse is talking about Israel and Judah. Not Middle East and somewhere in the Western Hemisphere. But you can interpret it differently if you wish. I believe that a loving God would not ask us to rely on the words of any book. I believe a loving God will save us all unconditionally. I believe if we did not require a belief to be born, we will not require one when we die. In the same way that Buddhism, Taoism, Jainism, Judaism, Orthodox Christianity, Hinduism and every other religion are true. All religions will lead us back to God (or what you call being exalted in the Celestial Kingdom). Thats a very optimistic outlook. :)

That's what I'm asking you. Why do you believe Jesus needed to incarnate in more than one place? Then I'll respond. Oh Im sorry. I forgot. I believe this because of this. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be cone fold, and one shepherd. John 10:16 This was his sermon on the mount. I also believe that a loving god would visit all his children and not make them rely on the word of one people. Like anything outside the realm of the scientific method, I cannot prove that reincarnation is real. I believe that the faithful in Jesus' day believed in reincarnation, and there are several New Testament verses that teach it and allude to it. Off the top of my head, John the Baptist's disciples asked him if he wasn't Elias or some other prophet reincarnated, for example. Vinny, Mormonism is true. Just not in the way you think it is. In what way than?
-
Oh ya no prob. It's merely a theory, but one that will make sense to lds folk.
-
I dont understand. Why didnt you jsut answer it.
-
Wow that was a fast drop. LOL
-
Ok so were getting somewhere. So why do you believe in reincarnation? What made you think it was real. What made you think the lds church was a hoax?
-
Yep :)
-
The thing is we need somethng to base it off of. We need to find something we both agree on. God for example we believe there is one. Do you think a loving god would leave his children to fend for themselves and not leave any of the prophetic words and do you think that jesus visited one group of people?

What makes it true? Spiritually mature is having faith and knowing that god is there and knowing what hes given you. What you said is spiritually immature.
-
Analogies dont go to far. The earth was the center of the universe for a long time untill it was proven otherwise.

Jason, My friend you forget that I know the standard works are not opinions. They are truth. We are not discussing philosophy here. If we were than we would never find middle ground. Jason I will tell you that I may not be perfect, but I know things that you just dont, but you can if you just give it a chance. Spiritually immature? How so. Yes everyone is seeking the truth, but I can see by the way you argue. You see truth but you just deny it. You cant handle it for w/e reason. I cant argue with someone who believes that the bible and the bom and the D&C are all wrong. All you have is yourself and nothing else. What are you seeking? Or have you found it?

The thing is you have no idea what the feeling is. I remember you talking about needing proof in a thread. I know you are sincere, but if you need proof than your in trouble. It comes from gods spirit. Please dont compare the spirit to drugs. If you have ever fealt it you will know that it lasts. Drugs are unnatural uses of chemicals and we need more and more to get the same feeling. The spirit and drugs are two different feelings. The spirit makes you feel truth drugs make you feel somethig else entirely and it doesnt last. Let me ask. How do you get answers to your prayers?

How does it not work. We use adieu as a formal way of saying good-bye for a while. The word used in the Gold plates couldve been translated many ways lets look. - Goodbye for now. - I will see you soon. - See ya - Ta ta for now. - ttyl (jk lol) - adieu What looks and sounds the best. Goodness you are all so hard to deal with here. I thought this was a dead subject. You all stick with the old stuff and see the truth right i n front of you but you deny it. It really really really makes me sad.
-
I would be in a heap of trouble if Im wrong. You didnt address all my verse. What about "heirs of god and joint heirs with christ" I dont believe that God put us here so we can all find different opinions. I know that I will become like god if I do what is right. I know that if your wrong you will be just fine, but if Im wrong than I will be hurtin bad. But god has given me a good feeling about what I believe. I feel the spirit of god everytime I read the bible and the BoM. Do you think the LDS church is "subtle"? not by a long shot. Ive heard every anti mormon argument and I dont ignore them I fact them head on because I know that God wont leave me hanging. I have an answer for everything. All anti mormons try to do is remake old shoes. Ive given you many verses claiming the truth, but you wont have any of it. And thats ok. I didnt mean to offend I meant to critique.
-
Jason. Please use sources and not opinions. I have a feeling you are also not looking for truth, but trying to see if you can make your thoughts truth.
-
Basically God trumps all other councils, princes, courts, etc. He is the ruler of rulers. That's all. Am I supposed to trust pastor chuck. Anyways. You answer one of my scriptures and leave the rest out. I dont think you are looking for the truth I think that you want it to be what you think. Im trying not to be harch, but like I said the music will be faced.

http://mexicodesconocido.com/english/histo...&idpag=1947 http://www.bci.org/prophecy-fulfilled/mayan.htm Notice in all my links including this one they refer to quetzlecoatl as a feathered serpent because that is the literal translation of his name. Jesus was referd to as a serpent in these scriptures as you can see. "14 Yea, did he not bear record that the Son of God should come? And as he lifted up the brazen serpent in the wilderness, even so shall he be lifted up who should come. 15 And as many as should look upon that serpent should alive, even so as many as should look upon the Son of God with faith, having a contrite spirit, might live, even unto that life which is eternal. " Hel 8:14-15 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:14–15.) Did you look at the coresponding birth dates. Is that a coincidence. Like I said there are different versions of quetzlecoatl I just used that link for the birth date :)
