The reason why we are taught to perform ordinances with exactness is not for brain washing.A big reason is so it is easier for patrons to feel the spirit. I will give an example without going into specifics. There are two ordinance works, worker "X" and worker "Y". If worker " X" were to perform ordinance "A" different then worker "Y" then the patron would pay attention to way worker "X" performs ordinance "A" and would lose focus on the spirit that prevails in the temple. Also this why correcting patrons when they are performing ordinances is usually frowned upon ( or at least should be) A good rule I used is correct once, and if they do it wrong again simply move on. OP it sounds like were eluding to being corrected multiple times. were you corrected a lot during your endowment?

I would call my home teaches and ask to schedule a visit if I were in your shoes. It sounds lke you. are having a difficult time. Sometimes our first reaction when the church is not providing what we need is to back away from The church.This is not the best reaction. The best reaction is to "Lean into the church", so you have the oppertunity to feel the spirit in greater abundance. I truley hope things work out for you. God bless.

A big reason why health care is so expensive is that the average doctor has to pay around 400,000 a year in student loan payments and insurance. In some cases hospitals pay their malpractice insurance and then pass the cost on to the patient. As an asid the reason aspirin is so expensive in hospitals is partly because of liability concerns they have to have a nurse administer any medications, including aspirin.

For some reason I can't edit the above list but anyways.... As a convert I feel its really rewarding to be a part of something that is so much bigger then myself, meaning eternal marriage. I don't pretend to know why God set things up the way he did, it honestly feels right to me.

When one usually sins it ois often a lack of understanding. I would suggest reading about the plan of salvation and the law of chasity. God gave us jthe power to procreate for a reason. Truley undrstanding that reason helps one to keep the law of chasity
