Stop harming yourself. I know what is this thing that you re going through, i also had problems finding a good girl in the church. but i wondered " there's just so many amazing girls out there, why do i have to be so close minded ?" And that thought is leading me to experience a greater happiness in life. So, i started looking elsewhere. I had to start looking on the outside mainly because the girls in the church sometimes happens to be extremely selective, they wanted a God, or to be more fair, something like a prophet or someone who just came out of the scriptures. There's other ways of course, you just have to beautiful, rich, talented, funny, kind. And only then, they will at least consider you. Anyways, start thinking out of your box, there are so many good men outside the church, there are some who are better persons at all. There is no need for you to pass such a great suffering in love, the church is just a congregation, a place where people meet to hear from the prophets, remember that humans are a big family, there's much more people outside the church than inside. But please, suffer no longer. There are many lost sheeps, and among those, i'm Shure there is a great man that will respect and treat you just how you deserve, and you can even bring to church and be happy. Just dont spend your life single and sad, that will do you no good, thats for shure. I'm sorry for my english, i'm not a native speaker of this language.

It's comprehensible because the church was small, but when you re present in hundreds of nations, its not pretty good to let all those people be represented by persons from only one nation.

Job or a calling, the diversity helps people understand that it is a church for everyone. Unfortunately, even with the missionaries, in the rural areas of Brazil, where my grandparents live, most people still think that the church is only for white foreigners, that happens because they dont see any leaders like them,so that they would feel truly represented. But as i said before, it is changing. They re sending more coloured missionaries to these rural areas, my branch president was black, and now we even have a Brazillian apostle, it feels better now when they ask to see photos of the prophets and apostles, because before we would show those very white people and they would say " wow, that is just very diferent from the bible, are they all north americans ? Dont we have any apostle that represents our people and the rest of the world ? " Gratefully, today i can happily say, "yes madam, we actually have a brazillian one, and even a chinese." Its just so cool haha.

Because most of the callings in the church have being ocupied by white north american people. So, i think they do it to show that it's changing and we re having more diversity in those notable callings, the church is now getting more "universal", just like the catholic church. The apostles, Elder gong and Elder Soares are examples.

Exactly, the thing is hard to comprehend besides confusing. As others have said, i think that some could have chosen in the pre existence to marry someone they knew there. And the PB just states that.

Yes, its as if the church is full and complete, and it has all of the explanations lacking in other religions. That was what i concluded when i decided to be baptized.

I asked this thing once for someone, and i was told that it couldn't, because it would break the free will given by god to us. But my patriarchal blessing says that my children are already waiting for my marriage with my wife, and even very briefly describes her personality. Should i trust what i was told ?

I used to pray before sleeping. Actually, you reminded me that i used to pray while staring at the "witch", because i was very scared. It didn't make any diference, the thing just kept going I was around 7, i think. Sometimes i had the courage of calling my father to investigate the bathroom and he would get up and walk by the side of my bed to turn on the lights, and when i was looking at him, i could see her lights reflecting at him, including his eyes. But he did not see anything, and often would get angry at me for waking him up. It could be this, makes sense. But also, in one of those experiences, this time years later, we were all sleeping, it was very dark, and i began hearing someone knocking at all the windows of the house, very fast. So, i began to fear again that the thing had returned, but my brother wake up and told my father that he had just heard the knocks, it was frightning, but still a lot better than the experiences from my childhood.

I dont know, it made me think that they really enjoy someone else's suffering. I was a kid back then, i was not sleeping well, i had those dark circles around the eyes, and i was getting hopeless, no one around could help me, they didn't understand the seriousness of the thing. And neither did i, i still carry my theories. But one thing is for shure, it was very real, i could see all the details, and it happened daily, it was not an ilusion, it was deeply frightening.

I was not a member at that time, and i can say that seeing those things kind of helped me to believe that there is a god. So it actually helped me a lot, i would like to have seen the good ones, but the bad ones proved that the good spirits and angels are around.
