What are the main reasons to embrace Mormonism?

Hi everyone. I have come back after a long time away from the forums. My name is Holly for those of you who don't know. I am a former Mormon and am considering coming back to the LDS church. I came here again so that I could learn more about Mormonism and why I should become Mormon. I look forward to discussing things with you all! :)

Actually, it would not extend to those who are Anglican/Episcopalian. Catholics do not believe Anglicans/Episcopalians to have valid sacraments. I know this because I am a former Catholic.

Yes, I am not a member right now. That is why we are wanting to have a civil marriage 6 months from now. I will just be getting baptized in about 6 months. Then, if we have to wait a year for the temple sealing, that is fine. :)

Hi everyone. My Mormon boyfriend and I are wondering if we can be married the "normal" way before getting married in the temple? By "normal" way I mean just having an ordinary marriage like other Christians have.

Hi everyone. I am looking for baptismal gowns for adult women. I wear at least a 2x to a 3x and I am afraid that the church won't have a size that would fit me. Where can I buy one at? All I've been able to find is children's baptismal gowns.

Ok everyone, I think I get it. Basically God was just doing the loving thing to do. He was telling them not to eat the fruit because if they did, they would be cast out from His presence but he was also at the same time telling them that they had free will and so it was their choice. Am I getting this right?

Hi Tom. Would it be accurate to say that maybe God didn't want them to partake of the fruit but he was giving them the choice to do so rather than outright forbidding them? If that is the case, then it makes much more sense to me.

I guess what I am so confused about is why would it be God's plan for Adam and Eve to disobey Him? That makes little sense to me.

Hi everyone. I am just curious. But why would God want Adam and Eve to disobey Him just so that way they could have free agency? It makes no sense to me why God would want His children to disobey Him. Please help!

Hi everyone. Back when polygamy was allowed in the LDS Church, I am sure that some people were sealed to more than one spouse. So, will they be married to all of their spouses in Heaven or just one of them and if just one of them, which one of them?
