Dr T Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 I received this in an e-mail and wanted to share it with you: What if God Couldn't take the Time to bless us Today because we Couldn't take the Time to thank Him Yesterday? What if God Decided to stop Leading us Tomorrow because we Didn't follow Him Today? What if we never Saw another Flower bloom Because we Grumbled when God Sent the Rain? What if God didn't Walk with us Today because we Failed to recognize it as His day? What if, God took Away the Bible Tomorrow because We would Not read it today? What if, God took Away His message Because we failed To listen to the Messenger? THINK ABOUT THIS ONE.......... What if, God Didn't send His only Begotten Son Because He Wanted us to be Prepared to pay The price for sin? What if, the door Of the church Was closed because We did Not open the door Of our heart? What if, God Stopped loving and Caring for us Because we Failed to love And care for Others? What if, God would Not hear us Today because we Would not Listen to Him? What if, God Answered our prayers The way we answer His call To service? What if, God met our Needs the way We give Him our Lives??? Quote

rameumptom Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 In the Book of Moses 7, the Lord states:32 The Lord said unto Enoch: Behold these thy brethren; they are the workmanship of mine own hands, and I gave unto them their knowledge, in the day I created them; and in the Garden of Eden, gave I unto man his agency; 33 And unto thy brethren have I said, and also given commandment, that they should love one another, and that they should choose me, their Father; but behold, they are without affection, and they hate their own blood;Just a little appreciation and no sibling squabbles are what any father wants for Father's Day! AmyL Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 Those ideas really make you think about the wonderful things that the Lord does for us. The world take many things for granted. I have noticed lately that I have started thanking Heavenly Father for alot of the small things in my life...it make me happier and lets Him know that I am grateful. Quote

Traveler Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Interesting but I do not think that the expressions even comes close to how the L-rd thinks nor do I think it represents how the saints (believers) deal with their L-rd. - and that is the point - ThanksThe Traveler Quote
