Guest jackvance88 Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 is this just a recent utah phenomenon? i've lived in a lot of different places, spent over 7 years in europe, and not until i got here did i see supposedly straight guys, especially in the 16 to 30 age range, who shave their legs and who are not swimmers, cyclists, body builders, or albinos!!! it's real weird. don't go overseas like that, especially to europe. they will get really odd looks from people. i just toured britain recently in the summer, and no men do it there. Guest Unorthodox Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Never seen it here in Utah, but I don't look at men's legs much. I don't see a problem with it, if they want to inconvenience themselves that is their business. Besides, its not as weird as some of the things we do to our bodies. Quote
john doe Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 I've noticed it more lately, I think it's some kind of fad going around. I prefer the shaved legs to lip, nose and tongue rings, though, so it can't be too bad. Quote
DisRuptive1 Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 It should be noted that waxing is a whole lot more effective than shaving. Quote
Franken Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 What does it matter if 90% of them wear long pants all the time anyways? Quote
Ray Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Heh, I tried it once when I once younger. I didn’t have a male role model, partly because my parents were divorced when I was young, my Mom kept a razor by the tub, and I didn’t know what else to do with the hair that was growing on my legs except what I knew my Mom was doing, so, heh, I shaved my legs. I don’t do it anymore though because I don’t even like to shave the hair off my face, much less the hair on my legs, and it pricks a little when it starts to grow back. :) Quote
Guest Winter283 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 I don't think it makes any difference. It's totally up to them. I've seen it, but it doesn't bother me all that much. :) Quote
Matt Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Shaved legs in Britain? Nah. Never happens. Why? Too damp. Too cold! :) I am in Britain, btw. Quote

Guest curvette Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 Very, very strange habit....right up there with multiple piercings. I wonder how long it will be before the revelation comes... :) Quote
StrawberryFields Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 About a year ago I asked the question why girls were shaving their arm hair. I guess this is just a time for smooth bodies? Quote
the_kid_in_the_korner Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 i shaved hi into my leg last summer and got paid well 4 it Quote
