ztodd Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 That is a blessing- you getting to share in using priesthood to bless others' lives. That's so great to hear. Quote
Abraham Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Hi, We should treat the Chapel as an ordinance room which it is. Addditonally, each of us should memorize the sacrament prayers and then go over them as the emblems are blessed. I promise you, if we do that the sacrament as well as the Atonement will come to mean much more to us (See also II Nephi Ch. 9). If we as MP holders get to participate that is a special bonus, blessing, and humble opportunity to serve our brothers and sisters. BTW - if we worreid more about ourselves during the administration than the Deacons tie, tied funny, maybe we could actually bring the Atonment to life in our own part of His universe. In this case it IS about Him, and me. All the best - see you in Zion (See Aof #10) May Peace by Yours, Abraham Quote
BenRaines Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I would just be happy if the adults in the meeting would shut up and be reverent. I understand if children can't be but adults can be quiet for an hour. Ben Raines Quote
ztodd Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Concentrating and meditating on the words of the prayers is an excellent thing to do while the sacrament is passed. I know it helps me feel closer to the Spirit and to my Savior. Thanks for the thread! Quote
NateHowe Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Congratulations! Perfection on the first try means far less than humility and a commitment to represent the Lord. Quote
