Enchanted Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Hi, I'm a teacher and a single mom of three from Tucson Arizona. I've been a member of the church all my life, attended BYU 1992-1996, then became a mom for the next ten years and lived in Utah, Iowa, Florida, and the Caribbean for my husband's career. I began teaching when we lived in the Caribbean, so my kids would get a better education and more cultural experience. After a couple years on the island, it became clear that we needed to return to the US for more stability and resources, but my husband had left the church and wanted freedom to live his life doing what made him happy. I returned to the US with the kids and eventually filed for divorce. We miss him and still love him as family, but have to to accept that he chose to do what he thought would make him happy. I'm a positive person who loves music, dance, and teaching children. I have a fulfilling and rewarding life. I miss the person my husband was before he lost his faith, and I never wanted to be a single mom. I came here to socialize when I have time, and I enjoy reading forums. Quote

Backside of air base where they parked the old aircrafts - grave yard, where we used to race our MX bikes. Welcome to the forum... Quote

Maya Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Hi enchanted and welcome. It is sad when someone you love decides to take a path against your HF. I have had this happening to me 3 times, my ex and 2 of my kids (his kids) who decided to follow him. Quote
