Jenda Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I am thankful for my husband, my daughters, the rest of my family, my friends, for being able to live in the latter days (in the dispensation of the fullness of times), for being a member of the true church ( B) ) my health, my pups. But most of all, I am thankful that I know my Heavenly Father, and know that He loves me, that He has given me the ability to love others as He has loved me and that, if I am a faithful steward with my life and gifts, that I may spend eternity with Him. Larry Kozlowski Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I am thankful for Barry Manilow, teflon, rear wheel drive, Preparation H, Spoon Size Shredded Wheat, $49.99 a month Small Business Unlimited Plan from Vonage, fluffy white clouds that bear a striking resemblance to Richard Nixon, Natalie Portman all grown up now, holiday shipping and the ability to do frontward flipturns while swimming backstroke. I am unthankful for filibusters, hangnails that irritate and Reba because I just don't like her. Happy Thanksgiving, all. Quote
StrawberryFields Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 It's Thanksgiving Eve. I am thankful for: The opportunity and the means to prepare Thanksgiving Dinner for my family for the very first time My Family, who builds me up, breaks me down, brings me joy, breaks my heart, but mostly reminds me that I am alive My Husband, who places his family first and still, makes my heart beat a little faster when he enters a room The opportunity to repent, and a Heavenly Father and Savior who love beyond measure My friends, who love and support me, even when I have found a deep dark hole...they manage to find me Living in a free country, where I have the freedom to be who ever I choose and for my religious freedom. The ability to recognize the Lords hand in my life Being blessed my mother for 42+ years of my life Having a heart which is stronger then my mind Priesthood blessing which have proven time and time again how much we are all loved by our Heavenly Father Trials in my life which have worked on my soul and forced me to learn the swim instead of drowning The opportunity for us to add to our family with a wedding The Lord allowing my son to live in the event of a miracle Happy Thanksgiving LDSTalk Family Quote
