Guest mattm4747 Posted November 25, 2004 Report Share Posted November 25, 2004 hi i am new here I am really shy it takes me like 3 months to work up the courage to ask a girl for her number or even screen name. any tips for being less shy? and when u ask a girl ask a girl out if u say i wanna tell u something but i want u to guess? and they guess till they get it right? and like i have already said any tips for being less shy? Or force yourself to do something that places you in front of people, like being in the school plays, or something. I was pretty shy, and that is what I did. Actually, both of them helped. It'a quite invigorating to just go up and ask a girl if she'd like to go out with you. Even if she says no. Just suck it up, swallow your pride, and go for it. It can only hurt if you DON'T. gimpandproudofit Posted November 28, 2004 Report Share Posted November 28, 2004 honestly, girls know how hard it is to get up the courage to ask us out.... and most of us respect that- so i think i speak for most girls when i say that if a guy can ask me on a date, or even just to dance, to my face, then i'll say yes; even if he does sound like a blabbering idiot or can't even look me in the eye!! props to all you guys out there- ya'll have a hard job and i'm glad i'm not in your place!!! good luck buddy, go make some girl's day!! I respect guys so much when they have the courage to ask me on a date or to dance. If she is a nice girl she won't say no.
