raysonofgilbertcooper Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 Hi everyone! Our young men are putting together a 72-hour pack and presenting it to the branch on 29th March. Your suggestions and comments have been very useful-thanks. Quote
Guest missingsomething Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 72 hr kit... here's my suggestion: Take a milk carton (the kind w/out the circle pour spout if possible) Inside pack 6 beef sticks, 2 packs peanut butter crackers, 4 granola bars, water purification tablets, a few bandaids and a few alcohol wipes if you have them, a needle and thread (the small spools), waterproof matches, those foil blankets (1), a small flashlight (like those little bitty ones), and a pack of gum. Seal the milk carton with parifin wax. Its the tinest 72 hr kit! lol fits in cars, back packs, etc. Quote

pam Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 Ahhh I guess I didn't take the OP to mean they are asking for suggestions. Just mentioning that suggestions already made have been useful and just thanking us. Since they are presenting it tomorrow. Quote

Maya Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 I know there was about 72h kit somewhere... but I cant find it now... but here may be something from the same magazine:Welcome to the neighborhood! Quote
Abraham Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Send me your em if you feel comfortable. I have the best lists for 72 hour kits. And even if they are too extensive for your activity. It might be good to include so people can augment theirs. Abraham Quote
