DisRuptive1 Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 You're nasty snow. This is Bale. Quote

Lindy Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I love watching Jeff Goldblum, but don't you think he would be too comical? Quote

Snow Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 I likes dragones. That why I went to see the movie. I jus dinna think it was that good. The Nazgul from LOTR were much better than them dragoons. Quote

Guest curvette Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 It's hard to believe that Christian Bale was that skinny kid in "Empire of the Sun." Quote
Jenda Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I don't know who Christian Bale is, either. Quote

Although, I think Joseph Smith was supposed to be a literal descendant of the biblical Joseph, so maybe it wouldn't be such a stretch! :) Quote

I have always been a Jeff Goldblum fan dating back to his TV series, Tenspeed and Brownshoes. But, the problems with Goldblum is that his personality is so distinctive that he basically only can play one character and that character is Goldblum. His Goldblumitude shine though ever facade he put up. It is not always so prominent as in his campiest roles (Jurassic Park, The Fly, Earth Girls are Easy) but it's always there, right up front, bigger than the part he is actually trying to play. Quote

I couldn't say anything about Joseph Smith, since I have never had to opportunity to see him act, as himself or anybody else. I think that Snow's "Goldblumitude" is exactly the word I would use to describe Goldblum. I think he is wonderful, but I can always see the humor, or comic in him in the things I've seen. That's one of the things I love about watching him.....he makes me laugh. Now I know he was in some very serious roles, but alas....I haven't had the chance to see him in most of those roles. But, I am sure that he shined in anything he did. Quote
