Guest Godless Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Right now I'm playing poker on Facebook and waiting for my "sister" to come over to play with my cats. Quote
pam Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Hey how come I don't have you on facebook? Huh? Huh? Quote
Guest Godless Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Hmm, I guess we're going to have to fix that. Quote
beefche Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Has anyone updated the lds.net page on facebook? I don't know 1/2 the people on there... Quote
pam Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 I don't even remember how to get to that page. Does that mean Im not a true facebooker if I don't know how to maneuver my way around it? Quote
beefche Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Hmm, I guess we're going to have to fix that. Be careful, she spams your page with weird messages....wait, that's me that does that....nevermind. Quote
beefche Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 I don't even remember how to get to that page. Does that mean Im not a true facebooker if I don't know how to maneuver my way around it?When I get home, I'll send it to you. Quote
Guest Godless Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Wait, LDS.net has a Facebook page??? Quote
pam Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Yeh it's actually under ldstalk if you want to look it up. Quote
beefche Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Yeh it's actually under ldstalk if you want to look it up.I think it needs to be updated or a new started...cause I'm serious, almost all of the people on there I've never seen in the year or so I've been here. If I knew anything at all, I'd start one that is private and get people on it....but I'm computer dumb..... Quote
Wingnut Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Tehre are two that I'm aware of. This group page, started by Lbybug, but it's outdated (it still refers to LDS Talk), and this, for the More Good Foundation. I think there should be a page just for LDS.net, though. Does anyone else know if there is one? Quote
pam Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 I am unaware of one. I just know of the ones you mentioned. Quote
beefche Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 I'm serious about making one, but making it private. I belong to anothe forum and we did that. The admin has to know the person from the forum in order allow that person to join. I don't want just anybody realizing how silly I am..... Quote
miztrniceguy Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 why do you need another place to hang out with the people from here....why not just do it here? Quote
pam Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Before anyone thinks of making one for lds.net. I just talked to Heather and she would prefer she do it verses anyone else doing it. Part of the rules of facebook is that if it is for an organization you have to certify that you are an official rep for that organization. Quote
miztrniceguy Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 but then again, anybody can start a myspacebookface page and invite anyone they want, and nobody needs permission from anyone else to do so. Quote
beefche Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Thanks, pammie. Didn't know that. mrniceguy, some of us prefer to feed our addictions. Therefore, the more online pages I can visit the better! Quote
miztrniceguy Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 thats Miztr...lol...and watch that tongue!! Quote
Wingnut Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 why do you need another place to hang out with the people from here....why not just do it here?A lot of people are on Facebook more than they are on here.but then again, anybody can start a myspacebookface page and invite anyone they want, and nobody needs permission from anyone else to do so.If someone wants to start a group, they can, with or without permission. In order to start a "page" on Facebook, however, one must be an official representative of the group/business/website for whom they are creating the page. Quote
john doe Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 phooey, jd! Sorry. Obvious spelling errors are one of my pet peeves. I'm OCD about that and you should conform to my needs to accomodate me. Quote
john doe Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 1-800-John-Doe I've updated it since you last called. It's now 1-800-HOTSTUFF. Quote

john doe Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Did you post that in the OCD thread so we are aware of it? Not yet. If I put down all of my pet peeves it would crash the site from all the bandwidth used. Quote
