I have an aunt that lives near Adam-ondi-Ahman (her husband is from Missouri). It's a pretty rural area. In the past it wasn't out of the ordinary for members to move there trying to be close to where important things are prophesied to occur only to find out there aren't any jobs and winters aren't fun and so many end up leaving. Lately though it seems they are going through a real growth spurt with 90 members of the Church moving to the area in just the last 4 months alone. They will be dividing their ward I think this Sunday. Many are having to buy land and build a house as there aren't enough existing ones to meet demand. I imagine some of it is in reaction to the increased talk about the Second Coming but it does seem like a lot of people for so rural an area. Maybe they are having a Close Encounters experience. 🤔😀 Your resurrection is interesting. My previous comment was from 11 years ago. A year ago I made another visit to Adam-ondi-Ahman. Things are quite different this time around. I was unable to locate the previous development. What I found interesting this time was that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the single largest owner of land in Missouri. Most of the land is farm land and the Church leases out working the land as farms. I was told that the Church is quietly purchasing any land that becomes available at a reasonable cost. With many professions able to work from home - and will be able to live wherever they wish could change where Saints choose to live. I am privately hoping that if it becomes necessary for the Saints to gather again in Missouri that the L-rd would cause some major disruptions and place a little mountain range there so skiing will be available in the winter. I currently live 15 minutes from Snowbird (what I consider the best ski resort in the world). It would be most difficult to give that up for the flat lands of Missouri.  The Traveler Quote

Or they could just build an indoor one like they have in Dubai. I mean, what's a city of Zion without indoor snow skiing? Quote

Nothing replaces the real thing.  The Traveler Quote

But I'm pretty sure my aunt and other Missourians will take fake snow over the massive tectonic shifting required to get you your slopes. Nice picture by the way. Traveler 1 Quote
