Working with many wonderful Saints has inspired me to "investigate" the LDS church. Enjoying the experience so far. I've gotten involved in my local ward just this month and thought this forum would be another good place to come for information. I'm glad you're getting more involved in your local ward because my early involvement certainly helped me during my conversion. It just felt like "home" there. I too was Catholic most of my life but converted to the LDS church about 12 years ago. It is impossible to explain the happiness that resulted from that decision.
