I see this Constitution hanging by a thread to be a plot device in an upcoming National Treasure movie starring Nicolas Cage.

After discovering the stolen Constitution stored in a labyrinthine vault in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Cage and his partners must traverse a long cavern hidden under the Masonic Temple in Salt Lake City to recover the Constitution. Once inside the vault, Cage must utilize both polyester thread and bubble gum to raise the Constitution up to the vent without the laser assisted cats detecting their presence.
