Greetings! I'm new to LDS.net, but not new to the Church. I've been a member all my life. My 3rd great-grandparents were in one of the later companies out of Nauvoo -- so the Church is in my blood. Reading The Work and the Glory is like reading my own family history.

I'm a scuba instructor and avid ocean and cave diver. The husband and I are looking to retire at the end of the year and serve a couples mission.

Glad to be here!

Glad you are here too! I'm on book 6 of "The Work and the Glory"....looooovve the series! I gained a much deeper appreciation for the sacrifices, hardships & work that the early members of the church went through of which we benefit so greatly from.
