1. How/why did you become a believer of Mormonism?

God told me it was true

2. What is your main attraction to your faith?

The holy ghost told me it was right.

3. What do you think that Evangelicals believe about Christianity? (God/Jesus/Salvation/Bible)

Which evangelical? You get many different responses from different mormons...all other religions are no different, i suspect some evangelicals have opinions very similar to mine.

4. What do you think are the serious differences between Mormonism and Christianity? Why?

mormon=christian (i should say, some mormons)

(sorta a loaded question isn't it?)

if you mean other Christian churches... a prophet and apostles.

authority goes like this

-God, the father/Jesus Christ/holy ghost

-me I am blessed to have a direct link with him. I talk to him, and He talks to me

-prophets- to govern Christs Church on earth, and to guide us, help us be better, improve and learn to love each other more, he has given us prophets.

God=my supreme being, my father in heaven, the one i love most in forever.

Jesus= his Son. =God... my only savior. my rescuer. The source of light in my life.

Spirits= some good, some bad. I like the good ones.

Humans= Gods children. unfortunately some of us don't believe it. I wish we could all receive our inheritance...and become "sons of God"

salvation= through grace, Jesus Christ has saved me. Not because of the pitiful good works I do, i don't do enough....But because he loves me in spite of my weakness. unless you call having faith a work. I do.

future/afterlife= we will be judged. If we have come to know our Savior, and love Him, (ie. repent...if thats a work, i believe in that too)we will dwell with him forever. Those that don't will go to hell.

6. Do you now, or have you ever had any doubts about Mormonism? If so, what are those doubts, and why?

not sure what Mormonism is, i believe in the gospel as set up by Christ and his apostles as set up in the new testament. The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints most closely resembles that church. (i guess many individuals interpret things differently)

i have indeed had my doubts about some of the things some LDS say. For example, some of my LDS friends don't realize they are saved. (refer to Elder Bednar's talk in conference..Baptism of fire and the holy ghost) sorta like the lamanites who were baptised with fire and the holy ghost, and knew it not.

7. Do you have assurance of salvation?

if you mean have i been saved? YES. I have accepted fully his Atonement in my life. He has done for me what no other can...As long as I don't deny him through word or deed (turn my back on him), his mercy will encompass me.

Those that claim they haven't been saved yet, i would give this advice, listen to the prophets, they have spoken on this.

Saved/baptism of fire and the holy ghost/Have ye received His image in your countenances?/ born again....

I must have copied the original thread by accident, not even sure how that happened...I was just responding to his original questions. I kinda figured that you were kidding with me! I just explained the meaning of the name because it is one of the first questions that people up here have been asking me. :)
