So I made a bunch of "surprise cookies" (that's what I grew up calling them). Before you make them into little balls, you put candy in the middle, like Hershey's Kisses or mini Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Anyway, I couldn't help but notice the unopened 2lb Reese's PB cups looking me straight in the eye from on the pantry shelf. My husband got them as Christmas stocking stuffers from my mum and still hasn't eaten them! So I decided to open one.. Each PB cup is 1lb. They're huge! :D Anyway, that one has finally been eaten, half went to DH and the other half to me!

They were selling those at some of the 7-11 stores here in the area. I have a friend who bought a couple of them. They are huge.

I was at Costco last night and saw a huge box of GIANT Reese's PB cups.. Or so I thought.. The box label read: 2 3lbs Reese's Peanut Butter cups. I turned to my husband and was so excited! Seriously, I was like a little kid, waving my arms about estactically. Well turns out that the total weight of the candy was 3lbs and there are only two peanut butter cups per the individual packages inside the box. La'em!

That is a serious Reese's Peanut Butter cup. :D I would eat it and then I'd have a sugar migraine for days.

I've never cooked with peanut butter cups but I have seen some recipes at Pinterest.
