Ray Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 It's not knowledge that saves us, you know. I'm sure Anthony "knows" it is wrong. My spirit is usually willing, and I'll wrestle with my flesh. I am weak. Not that there's anything wrong with that, because I know where I can get strength. But it's not my strength. It's the strength of my Lord. He is strong. Quote

rosie321 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 [Let's put this troll crap to bed- I will not post any new threads for a long long time! Do not respond anymore to these "I think anthony is a liar" posts! Do not reply to my personal thread anymore! Get over it and move on to other sincere posters and try to help them instead of insulting them! I don't care about the troll thing. I never liked trolls anyway so I kind of avoid them period. If you don't have something nice to say... increased exposure increases the likelihood. On the otherhand, hopefully if you are serious about your question (I am not the judge of your heart-I tried it before on this site and overstepped my bounds). Hopefully you will take peoples responses to the question seriously. People are sincerely giving a reason for the hope that is within them and what might happen as a result of certain choices. Adultery is not a game. Hanging out with a married women to date or kiss will only lead you into danger. If you missed that lesson or it didn't hit your heart when a missionary (lets face it the mission life itself kind of discourages and makes it difficult) get the message now. This is one of those times as I tried smacking into your head before is a SERIOUS matter. Take it serious and don't play games with it. Its hard to take a person serious when they are willing to play with such serious things. This is no laughing matter and it probably is better to take a break from this site for a while to go and ask the Lord for direction. That has been helpful to me. Get peoples thoughts and take it back to the Lord. I am grateful to this site because I have been able to ask difficult questions or things I have struggled with. At times people have come across strongly but I am grateful because even when things seemed bad. It was made good. Thus can be your experience whether you are a troll , adulterer, confused person.....Good luck to you Quote
Fiannan Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Anthony, assuming you are legit then remember the example of Joseph and Pharoh's wife. The women (from your brief description) sounds like a user. There are plenty of good women out there -- find one and marry her. Quote
StrawberryFields Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 WHHHAAAATTT? Old women need loving too BTW, The married man I am dating.... is my husband of almost 25 years. I believe that even after we have married the love of our life we should still continue to 'date' each other.Just thought maybe I should clear that up. :) Quote

Dror Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I am a 25 year old member of the Church and she is not. She has been married for only a couple of months. She has told me that he is not attractive to her and she is only married to him because she knows he will never leave her. She has said she lives like this because she does not want to actually fall in love with someone and be hurt. Supposedly her husband knows all of this and I believe he does...though I'm not sure he knows that she wants to date other guys- myself included. So here are the questions in my mind right now, please answer any or all, I promise to listen to whatever you have to say-Is it wrong to date her?Would I be excommunicated for something like kissing her? What if I fall into temptation and do more than just kissing? Are platonic/friendly dates okay? You're kidding, right? Of course it's wrong to date a married person! You know that perfectly well. It seems to me you're thinking with your You-know-what and not your brain. Get out of a bad situation before it gets worse, ok?!I'm not trying to put you down, just trying to save you from a lot of trouble.Dror Quote
