Guest Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 So the average teacher makes that, which includes those just starting out in the field with no experience and people with 20 years in. Sorry, but you've proven my point. That's what I was trying to do. Prove your point with real numbers. You're welcome. :)

Sali Posted December 29, 2012 Report Posted December 29, 2012 Can we chill on the my country is greater than yours? It's offensive to people. We wouldn't talk this way about races etc, so it's not really acceptable as far as ethnicities, cultures etc go either!
selek Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 · Hidden Hidden Can we chill on the my country is greater than yours? It's offensive to people. Oh dear. How horrid.Lock up your daughters, somebody's knickers got twisted. In point of fact, however, there are very real differences between countries and between governments.I won't hide my light (or my country's) under a bushel simply because others find the revelation unflattering. We wouldn't talk this way about races etc, so it's not really acceptable as far as ethnicities, cultures etc go either! Race and ethnicity are immutable characteristics.Governments and ethics, on the other hand, are not.But thank you for playing the race card in an attempt to intimidate the rest of us into silence.
Sali Posted December 29, 2012 Report Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) Oh wow! I was using the 'race' word as an example of a difference, not in the way that you seem to have interpreted as my using it. Edited December 29, 2012 by Sali
