NeuroTypical Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 The long-awaited and much-discussed review of John Dehlin's Mormon Stories has just been released by the Interpreter folks.Dubious “Mormon” Stories: A Twenty-First Century Construction of Exit Narratives - Gregory L. SmithAnyone following current events in LDS apologetics is probably interested to hear this news and read this review. There has been no small amount of personality-driven melodrama involved in it's release, which you can read about in Return of the Unread Review: A Mormon Story. Quote
Just_A_Guy Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) Heh. And here we've been naively comparing LDS.net to an episode of Springer. Edited February 24, 2013 by Just_A_Guy Quote
skippy740 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 Just call me "Steve" (the bodyguard/head of security on Springer). :) Quote

Just_A_Guy Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 So is this the infamous "hit piece" that the other forums have been talking about?M.Yep. Our first thought was to sic a couple of violin-case-carrying Danites on Dehlin, but since we don't actually have Danites anymore an academic tempest-in-a-teapot was the best we could manage. Quote
Matthew0059 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 Good. I'm glad it got released. Anyone who followed the story will see the egg on Dehlin's face. He needs to be fully exposed; the sooner the better. Thanks for sharing Loudmouth. Quote
