mountain_trails
Lurked a long time before I joined, and then finally joined a year ago. Now this is my first post. :) Lifelong member of the LDS church. Um, that will do for now.

NeuroTypical
Hi! Which mountains, and what trails? I spent half my life on one side of the Rockies, and the other half on the other side.
mountain_trails
Well, I travel a bit but mostly (so far) in the western half the united states, from Canada to Mexico. I love being in the mountains and enjoy the peace I find there.
JimmiGerman
Well, I travel a bit but mostly (so far) in the western half the united states, from Canada to Mexico.I love being in the mountains and enjoy the peace I find there.Nothing against the mountains... but for me it's too tiring to reach a mountain (it's okay when you finally have reached on a mountain, but then you must go downwards again, or you decide for staying there in a mountain hut for the rest of your life). I guess I wasn't made for that. Here in Northern Germany we don't have any mountains (not anything you would even call a hill if you are from a mountains' area). You can move hundred miles West, North, East or South from here, and no mountain would be in your way, only rivers and "autobahns", railway tracks and oak trees, and sometimes a drunken tourist from Bavaria. You would be the most unhappiest man here. Regards from a "great plain" resident.
