Apple users, interested?

No link but there's a lot of sources out there if Googled. I'm already hearing whispers of a new iPhone possibly being released this year in August. It's probably not accurate whisperings but I was intrigued with a couple speculations that are being tossed around. Apparently, Apple may be skipping the 5S and going straight to the 6. In addition, to compete with the market, the new iPhone will come in 3 sizes: mini, regular and XL.

The iPhone 5 just came out not too long ago. I can't imagine what real improvements could be made between then and now.. But I'm not all that techie, so maybe the leap will be significant. The only thing I'm interested in is the "mini size" because then I can slip it inside my blouse while I'm out and about, comfortably and less awkwardly. Other than that, I'm not sure I'm convinced in upgrading. Not just yet.

Me. My iPhone 5 took a swim in the mall toilet 3 days ago and still has not woken up. I think it drowned...

yes i'm interested. will I be getting anything fancy any time soon.. most likely not. maybe once my phone i'm using finally gives up the ghost.

Put it in a bowl of uncooked rice. My samsung took a 20min bleach bath and the rice trick rescued my sim card and the phone itself will turn on long enough for me to get a phone number off it if I need to.

Yup. Dropped my Droid Incredible in a swimming pool at a scout activity one summer. 48 hours in rice and it's still ticking, two years later.

I guess you have seen the new IOS7... That will come to probably a couple of current phones and the new iphone.

They usually come out with the S model about 6 months after it. So they are past do.

I doubt they will do three. Maybe two. There has been the rumor of a cheaper iphone for over a year now (a plastic version). I could see that.

Thats actually what is hurting Apple. Pretty much every other phone maker is coming out with newer techie stuff. Apple was a head for so long they didn't really need to come out with new stuff... now they do.

Is the iphone 4s not small enough? There are other phones you can buy?
