Annabelli Posted June 16, 2007 Report Share Posted June 16, 2007 Have any you been to a Sunday serivce with rock and roll ?We went with my neice and her family last Sunday morning, We later attended LDS services.There service was out doors at the local collage theater. we found it entertaning and I can see was draws peaple to it. Alot of Young peaple. The paster was very good he was able to make his service here and now.Vary relaxed jeans and t-shirts. Our dress was a little dressy for this meeting.But I was also was ready for sacrament meeting by the time the afternoon came.On the front page of Lifestyles in our newspaper the entire front page reads "There's a new church in town."It's all about using rock and roll music in the services and wearing t-shirts and jeans. ....etc ....etc.It is not a new church at all ! It is a local church (First Church of the Nazarene). They are using the rock and roll image and have held their services in of all places a junior high school (so it's not a religious service if it's in the public school ! ) and now they have relocated it to an out of business cinema theater.
