pam Posted April 5, 2014 Report Posted April 5, 2014 If a man die doth he live again? Yes!! Our Father’s plan is about families. Elijah’s return occurred in the Kirtland Temple. The Savior was emphatic about the necessity of baptism. The Savior was personally baptized to set the example. The essential doctrine of uniting family came line up line and precept upon precept. Our doctrinal obligation for family history is to our own family. We need to be connected to both our roots and our branches. Attending the temple for spiritual renewal is a great blessing. Family history technology has advanced tremendously. The role of technology has accelerated with the help of the Lord himself. Our family history centers are now in our homes. Think of those on the other side of the veil that are waiting to be freed from the bondage of spirit prison. The leadership of the church have issued challenges to the youth to lead the way in using technology in the Spirit of Elijah. Don’t underestimate the help you can receive from those already on the other side in assisting with this work. We without our roots and branches cannot be saved. Families can hold a family tree gathering. The main objective is to determine what ordinances still need to be done. The Sabbath day is a great day to do family history work as a family. We can become Saviors on Mount Zion for our own families. Quote
