Dr T Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 I just found out that I'm missing a $5700 check We can't find it where we usually put them. That's no fun. Quote
Guest Yediyd Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 I've NEVER missplaced that much cash or check, but I have come to realize that if I stop what I am doing and ask God to help me find something, I usually find the thing I am looking for very quickly after that. Quote
Dr T Posted June 21, 2007 Author Report Posted June 21, 2007 Thank you Friend. I've done that. I'm faithful and still looking. Quote

orrinjelo Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 That's a lot of money. I still need to earn that much. Quote
Dr T Posted June 21, 2007 Author Report Posted June 21, 2007 Orrin, It will come. It comes and it goes. I'm just glad this check came back. Quote
Guest the_big_picture Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 thats like 5500 bottles of beer I would be realy mad. Hope you find it! Quote
BenRaines Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 Sounds like that was the money for the laptop. Ben Raines Quote
Dr T Posted June 21, 2007 Author Report Posted June 21, 2007 Maybe but I don't even want to spend $4000. That is one of my biggest debate. I can get a nice PC for less. But it's that magnetic piece that has me in it's grips. Stupid I know, but like I said, I'm tired to replacing mother boards. Quote
CrimsonKairos Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 That magnetic cord has saved my Macbook Pro at least four times. It cost me (with upgrades to RAM and harddrive) about $2,000. So that's four $2,000 laptops saved by the brilliant Apple magsafe cord. B) Quote

CrimsonKairos Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 Yediyd, the magsafe cord is merely a power cord that you plug into your laptop, but its held in place magnetically, so that if you jerk the cord or trip over it, it doesn't pull your laptop down with it, but merely disconnects from the tiny magnetic field holding the cord into the laptop. See here for more info. Quote
Guest Yediyd Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 That's neet!!!! Too bad I'm stuck with what I bought for awhile....I don't have alot of money to be sticking under the cat's butt. (Yediyd winks at Dr. T) Quote
