Guest MormonGator Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 He is obviously a smart guy, but I find his followers to be very annoying. Most don't know what to think until he tells them. I get it, we usually watch people who we agree with (no liberal watches Fox, no conservative MSNBC) but most people who watch the Daily Show tend not to be "free thinkers" Thoughts? Quote

Guest MormonGator Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 I always found him to be thinking "I'm smarter than you stupid people watching me". Which is death to comedy. You can think it all you want, but acting it is a no-no. Quote
PolarVortex Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 I never cared much for Jon Stewart. I think large parts of our civilization are disintegrating before our eyes, and movies and television are contributing mightily to the decline. I was sickened by the description of the book Fifty Shades of Grey (although the Amazon reviews are a hoot) and really bothered that anyone would want to make a movie of it. Jon Stewart's shtick of mocking sarcasm and obscenities is not a symptom of a civilized society, in my opinion. One of the reasons I'm drawn to the Church is its wholesale rejection of this muck. Windseeker Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 They will replace him with another shill...the frat boys demand it, how else will they translate their progressive indoctrination into 'Useful Idiot'. Quote
Guest MormonGator Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 I'm not a fan of him either. He barks, hipsters say "Sir, yes sir!" than talk about how open their minds are. Quote
Palerider Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 I always enjoyed he and O'Reilly going back and forth. Quote
