Still_Small_Voice Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 I went and saw the Freetown movie yesterday. It was overall a good movie. I really liked the part where they ran out of gasoline and how God provided a kind man to help the missionaries continue on their journey. Does anyone have the real story compared to the movie? I am interested to compare the movie with the real story. Quote
pam Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 I saw the movie. I really liked it. It wasn't quite as intense as I thought it would be but still good. Quote

Still_Small_Voice Posted May 11, 2015 Author Report Posted May 11, 2015 I just looked it up. It is about 350 miles from where they were in Monrovia to Freetown. What a journey it was in war torn country. They had the favor of the LORD on their trip. Palerider 1 Quote
pam Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 My understanding is that they couldn't film in Liberia however because of the Ebola outbreak. Quote
Palerider Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 I am going to mention this movie to Mrs Palerider and see if we can watch it. pam 1 Quote
