What is the best browser for this forum?

I'm using Chrome and I often have problems posting here - specifically there is a terrible lag between when I click Submit and my stuff gets posted.

It this normal?

Is it because I'm a newbie and an admin is manually approving me?

Also, sometimes I see that I have double posted, without knowing why.

Does this site work better with some browsers than others?

I use Firefox and sometimes experience this delay.  I just open the site in a new tab and continue browsing there while the "submit" processes it.  This is my best recommendation - just let the other tab alone, no matter how long it takes.

It's not because you're "new".  As near as I can tell, this site is divided between multiple servers - at least one with the forums and another with users and rights.  And, as near as I can tell, sometimes the one which handles users and rights goes down independent of the forum server, and then anything which requires login takes longer, or fails altogether.  (That includes things like posting, viewing "unread" content, and private messaging, for example.)

I use Safari and the same thing happens to me as well.

I use Chrome, it happens to me sometimes as well. The less I "lick" the submit button, the more success I seem to have though

I changed that from "when I lick Submit" to "when I click Submit." And I made the thread title into real English too.

I'm using a phone and the phone itself makes a big difference. I've tried most browser apps and mostly I stick with the browser that comes with the phone.
