I guess I'm a matchmaker in my singles ward

I have a hard time finding a girl for myself, but I've set up 2 couples in my ward in the past 6 months and now both have been sealed in the temple in marriage. What happened is both girls I set up I had crushes on, but realized they didn't feel the same way about me and what I really wanted was their happiness and I just happened to set them both up with perfect spiritual worthy guys who were friends and they hit it off so well. I honestly don't want to take credit because it was their agency and personalities that helped them fall in love with each other, but what I want to ask is is it a good idea to try to help others find eternal companions instead of only worrying about myself? I feel great joy from the happiness of others now and I don't feel jealousy, but joy. I'm trying to show charity and want to know if I'm doing a good deed trying to play matchmaker when it's worked out twice, or should I back off?

Think about it... you have been instrumental in bringing 2 couples one step closer to the highest level of celestial joy.  Why would you stop doing it?

Anyway.. as far as yourself - those are 2 fish in the pond you took off your companion list.  That's 2 fish closer to finding your eternal companion.  Just keep swimming.  She'll show up eventually.

That's a fantastic point. I've only tried to set up a couple twice in my life and both were done in the past 6 months and both are successfully sealed in the temple. I wish I was sealed too, but making other people happy brings me more happiness than doing things just for myself. Charity really is rewarding.
