Phineas Posted February 1, 2019 Report Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) My wife had this random question. First she asked if there were other people around when Jesus was baptized. I replied that there were because he was out baptizing other people. He also had his own group of disciples that were probably there. Then she asked if other people heard the Father pronounce Jesus had is Beloved Son. I think yes. But I’m not positive. Did everyone hear it or was it only for John and Jesus? JohnsonJones Posted February 2, 2019 Report Posted February 2, 2019 Luke 3:21-22 Quote 21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. I would say whoever present had eyes to see and ears to hear witnessed the Father's voice and the dove sign. Quote
