a-train Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Okay, did someone kill a-train and hack his account and start posting in his place? No. I have to admit that I am a little excited about all this now that there is a sudden amount of long-needed exposure going on in the media with the election coverage. What is the most difficult for me is the fact that so many don't believe it. That is why I am so excited about it, I don't want folks to just overlook what is going on. We have Congressmen, Senators, Church Leaders, and many more warning us of what is going on and so many act like its all fake. Certainly there are goofy conspiracy theorists that think its the masons or some other fraternity, but that doesn't mean that there is NO ongoing effort to ruin freedom. The wealthy elite who threaten to destroy the freedom of all free nations are not all together, they will quickly throw down one another. But we must not in ignorance place ourselves in their service. Voting for them and engaging in their business is nothing we want to do.What is the most exciting about the issue is the fact that we have a candidate so outspoken about it all.-a-train Quote
Abraham Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Hi, Your points are well taken, and as we have been couseled, taking holy writ as our guide is a safe path. Just a couple of thoughts; when a prophet and more than one of them states doctrine, that is scriputure to me, as we know the Bible is deficient in many ways. I think though that the blood being spilt as a euphemism for being killed is an excellent point, though I am not sure it applies merely to the cross, as you have alluded to. If our sins are washed away in blood, do you think this is just symbolic of his dying? To me the issue is that he lives not that he died, and it was his suffering which caused the greatest of all, even god to bleed from every pore and this did not happen on the cross (the bleeding from every pore that is). Again, I appreciate your point but it kind of points to the Protestant's view of the 'cross as the point of reference' and I don't believe that it can carry all that weight, but as you pointed out summarily. Thank you for your itmeized and poignant response. In conclusion I realize I must be careful that so called doctrine that is logical and reasonable may not be divine or even doctriine.
