Emmanuel Goldstein Posted September 1, 2019 Report Posted September 1, 2019 We seek balance in our minds and find things weird when they unbalance us. But, they often can be a blessing to us. Moses 6 37 And it came to pass that Enoch went forth in the land, among the people, standing upon the hills and the high places, and cried with a loud voice, testifying against their works; and all men were offended because of him. 38 And they came forth to hear him, upon the high places, saying unto the tent-keepers: Tarry ye here and keep the tents, while we go yonder to behold the seer, for he prophesieth, and there is a strange thing in the land; a wild man hath come among us. 39 And it came to pass when they heard him, no man laid hands on him; for fear came on all them that heard him; for he walked with God. Something becomes weird when it is outside of our expected or referenced paradigm. From your reference we come to understand two responses. One was a change of heart and mind - the other was an attempt to shut him up. From your quoted scripture - it would seem that the effort to quiet Enoch did not work well and resulted in fear. The Traveler As we read further the effort to quiet him resulted in some very bad days for his enemies. Traveler 1 Quote
