Still_Small_Voice Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 Anyone ever tried this product? They claim to be able to sharpen your razor blades over and over again. Does it really work as they claim? Anyone tried it?https://www.officialtvwebsite.com/saveablade/index.asp?did=644&refcode=sab1 Quote
Alaskagain Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 hmm. never tried it, sorry. But, it reminds me . . . Clark Howard of talk radio says that you can use the same disposable razor many times over, as long as you keep it clean and dry - water being the enemy of the razor's edge. Use a q-tip to swipe it clean and the hair dryer to blow it dry for just a few seconds after you finish shaving. For 19.95, you could buy a lot of disposable razors. . . . Quote
MorningStar Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 Ooh, I'll have to tell my husband! Razors are so expensive. Speaking of razors, my brother is a cop. He had to respond to a call where a stripper tried to cut her wrists with a razor. The kind you shave your legs with. All she did was scrape up her arms. I guess she doesn't know about the fact that it has to be a razor that is not enclosed in something. Shhhhhh ... No one tell her. Quote

They are impossible to sharpen too.I guess most of you are too young to remember when the ginsu knives infomercial first came out. The announcer was talking so fast and he always said weally instead of really- cracked me up. Quote
