Revelation of Peter was canonized prior to the 367 AD meeting and was dropped. Go figure.

Here something I didn't know concerning John the Revelator. In the Letters to the Elders of the Council, Kirkland, dated 1 Sept 1835, it reads:

"John upon the isle of Patmos, saw the same thing concerning the last days, which Enoch saw." (HOC 2:261)

Now if I can find Enoch writings on what he saw and compare.....

Likewise, I recently learned from a book that, because Nephi was forbidden to write what John was ordained to write -- Nephi found a way around that restriction by quoting Isaiah.
