I think the answer lies with women are more faithful than men. It is an undeniable truth in this world. I look upon my own companion who steadfastness and faithfulness is an example to our family. If it is a requirement to hold that eternal sealing to be partakers with out Father, what do you do with those other faithful 6-women [refer back to Isaiah text] who do not have companion? I am not a fan of such either but in this case; Father will not deny those who are true and faithful be left be behind in the eternal prospect. TIDBIT: there is a deeper meaning to a eternal marriage than we could comprehend in this life.

The fall of Adam & Eve was part of the Plan of Salvation, which was prior to their inhabitation the Earth. I just read the Book of Jubilees, Chapter 3 [quest in searching for that answer] where it depicts the Genesis story with added vivid details of time, events, and names; there is some direct correlation of this chapter to the Temple narrative. Though, what is fascinating is ‘rib’ story. The story has Adam outside of the Garden when his body was created and entered therein. Not only that, in naming the animals and so on. It was there that Eve was created. After Eve creation, both of them were brought into the garden to care for it. It also stated, when Adam and Eve left the garden to live out there mortal lives, Adam return to that land of his creation. I come to learn with many instances of the Savior in His mortal life, there were times He required materials for either to repair or to multiply. I don’t see this far from reality when we ourselves are not from this grasp with this type of science. Yet, more proof is required whether it was true or not. Remember, it is a non-canonize work that may have been rewritten many times since the first author. Without having a seer to ensure the words are correct and true, we need the guidance of the spirit when reading.

However, there is a deeper meaning here to have that eternal 'oneness' or 'a zion like' marriage to what is in the beginning that the FATHER is seeking. Going back to the meaning of the RIB - the term MAN & WOMAN. Perhaps, it is something that is not revelant for our own salvation. Just rambling.

That is a subjectiveness statement and I don't think it was his intention to say she or he was unworthy. If one has the opportunity in this world and not following through, he stands correct. You are only slowing your own eternal progress to an 'grinding' halt since you cannot reside in the presence of the Father and His son at that given moment. The chances of her or him joining in the next life will have its problems already since that individual is not going to join in this mortality as a [eternal] companion. [Observation] I would not expect that uniion to happen in the eternal world. Now, if he or she who is faithful here and the other is not, in the end the marriage will be consummated. As eternal companions, they will cherish each other forever.

If one is given the opportunity and thus does not follow through, what do you think will happen to that person? If you are referring to 1 Corinthians 7:7-8, I would beg to differ on whether or not Paul was married. There is indication he was. It is culture customary in not revealing the names of there beloved spouses within the gospel text. Example the Savior, Peter, James, John and so forth; even within the Book of Mormon. Now, in being an Apostle of the Lord, witness and exemplary of the same, his teachings prove otherwise. Look at 1 Timothy 4:1-3, 1 Corth 11:11, and so forth. This man had seen the Celestial kingdom and know to enter therein, he would have that eternal companion by his side.

For others: Genesis 3:16 "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." When Eve decided to partake of the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge to further gain knowledge, GOD place a curse on her for taking that initiative; Eve had a inquisitive mindset. You will also noticed in Genesis 3:17, there is an identical curse that was placed on Adam. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; The key here is the word 'sorrow' or 'atasy', means to labour, to sweat, to toil, to make hard. The other key is the word 'multiply' or 'plethynormai' [see the Septuagint], make it simply to understand, means to repeat over and over again. Now, both terms, conception and labour of Eve will be multiply; according to the curse. Both curses have the same word 'sorrow' as you already see. If I look at the root meaning here, both Adam and Eve must sorrow and labour [work hard]. Look at the Septuagint word 'lype'! It means bodily or mental strain, affliction, or discomfort. It doesn't mean to be sorry, but to be very hard [to bear children for Eve and farm the earth for Adam]. The pattern of this world comes from where? GOD's own Celestial world. If that is a fact and excepted by you, then what about child bearing? What was the curse again for Eve? Did Eve even know how to have children; being adult with a child like mind? Hopefully that helps somewhat... Tree of Knowledge...perhaps the fruit has a significant meaning now.

Late edit: Another random thought. I forgot to add to the last statement, what I was trying to bring to the ‘table’ here, have you ponder over, there is a deeper meaning to the 'rib' and the 'forbidden fruit'. If we had the Book of Adam vice the Book of Moses, we would all have a clearer picture of the creation, what transpired in the garden, and what happened there after.

I understand. At times, I only wish that GOD would give us dreams, visions, or when conversing, everything literally vice sombology. It may take years to receive an answer to a symbol. Even the Savior spoke at times, with those individuals during His mortal ministry [especially the Jewish priests] in parables. Think about it and ponder it. There is a key that was given that brings more enlightenment of the 'beginning'. :) Now, I can see how it can be misunderstood in our days, seeing our culture is based on literalism vice symbolical visions that was quite obvious in Moses time. Even our own personal visions are at times filled with the same symbolic undertones. Keep it simple, another key is to this understanding, is the creation of the Savior's mortal body. Temple is filled with symbolic meaning....a classic example of temple symbolic teaching, even the priesthood is represented by the building architecture [design]. Fruit mystery - I do agree with -a-train. This was a factual. You find the answer in Moses 2:29. Though, immortal they both were, they still require a source of energy. Both Adam and Eve bodies, did not have blood flowing through their veins while in the Garden located in the Land called Eden. Yes indeed but there is a story being told here that gives a person "glance back into the beginning." The question here, were Adam & Eve created on this earth or simply brought here.
