Sorry to disagree with you........this is supposedly a "Stimulus Bill" to prevent an economic disaster. The economic crisis didn't occur because some schools are in need of repair.........this is a crazy amount of debt and should scare the britches off all of us. That being said, I tend to agree with their assessment....I don't see critiquing or criticizing the President as a right or left thing. Admittedly, I am a right winger, but we all need to hold our elected representatives accountable for bone headed moves, ® and (D). I greatly fear this "stimulus bill" is a pork barrel spending fiasco. I wish, if we are going to spend a ton of money, that it was hyper focused on the root of the economic down turn.....the housing and credit crisis. The huge list of goody's.......pork barrel spending,aka, appropriations, is a shameful waste of tax payer money, anytime in my opinion, but certainly during this time. But that is the way of Congress.........

Hello JHM, I was wondering........ Have you ever considered a "companionship" with an LDS woman who might be struggling with same gender attraction? Marriage, after all isn't about sex or sexual attraction only. Certainly it is a component of marriage, but marriage is also about friendship and a deep and abiding love on an other than physical level. No doubt, there are many marriages where sexual attraction doesn't exist or sexual intimacy doesn't exist do to physical or mental problems or just no interest, yet, these marriages can thrive and be as deep and filled with meaning and fulfillment as a very sexually charged relationship. It might be better than loneliness and would be the opportunity to have a companion that struggles in the same manner and is seeking to overcome and move forward. Just a thought...... Regarding your transgression.......hang in there, don't forget, none of us are perfect and we all battle our own demons and most of all.....you are a beloved son of Deity....of Royal Birth and without a doubt the Lord knows your struggle and has watched your valiant efforts at resisting something that most of us may not understand. Most of the sites that I have came across that "question" many aspects of the church don't really question....they accuse and present as fact bits and pieces of half truths as evidence that the church is a big lie. The Holy Spirit and references to it are woven through the doctrine and culture of the LDS church, I can't imagine that if someone had truly experienced the divine interaction of the Spirit that they would fail to mention it, at least as a side note. Perhaps, " I don't believe the church is true or JS was a fraud, but I felt something there that was Holy or unexplainable." Are we to believe that all of thee alleged former LDS members never felt that Spirit or have chosen to not mention it except for the occasional mocking reference to a "burning in the bosom"? I have read a great deal of Anti-sites and Recovery from Mormonism is just that an anti-site. I wonder how many of the people who post there or write e-mails were actually ever members???? There are a lot of particularly disgusting sites like these around and it seems to me that there is one thing they all seem to have in common, besides throwing the church under the bus.......they don't mention the Holy Spirit. The alleged former members love to bash the church for countless reasons and tell tales of years of deception by the church, but they don't ever mention the Holy Spirit????? Anyone who is a true and faithful Saint knows that it is the witness of the Spirit that converts and keeps members in Christ's fold. That is why I doubt the honesty of many or most of the e-mails and posts from so-called former Mormons.

Nothing has changed for me. But, I typically don't live recklessly beyond my means. Our businesses are stable and we should have a nice year, despite those morons in D.C. My only vice is golf and I only play once a week. So no changes, if anything, I have been spending the same or more to help the economy grow. I wish the pundits and politicians would stop telling everyone the sky is falling....it's not. The economy will recover.
