If you research the history of the founding of this organization, and the main women who were the ones who created it, you would have a better understanding of the TRUE objectives that these women have. We are in a time where good is called evil and evil is called good. Planned parenthood's main objective is abortion. Oh they throw in other things that make them seem to do some good, but it is only a cover for the evil objective. I am all for a woman to have a choice whether to have a baby or not. Women can choose to use birth control pills, condoms, spermicide, rythum, saying no and even adoption, BUT WOMEN do not have the right to kill a baby in the womb. This is not a choice, this is murder. There are more babies aborted in a year than all people who have been killed in all wars combined.

God doesn't change, we change our understanding. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. It is very important to have an understanding of the Godhead as a member of the LDS church, This is a main doctrine. This is one of those things that totally set the church apart from others. Joseph Smith saw 2 personages who called him by name and said to him pointing to the person on his right hand, "You will know the truth through my son". If you have a testimony of Joseph Smith being a prophet, then you have to believe that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are 2 distinct beings. Our earthly families are fashioned after our heavenly family. My father is definitely a different and distinct being than my brother. The difference with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is that they are perfect and if you are perfect, you are the same, together, one. One in purpose, character, goals, pursuit, judgement.

Revelation 12:7-9 This speaks of the war in heaven and says plainly that Satan was there, rebelled and was cast out. If he wasn't of a holy nature, why would he have been in heaven? Many Christians other than LDS know about and acknowledge the war in heaven. Since this guy is so interested, ask him to talk to the missionaries!

I say you guys are TOO LUCKY !!! To have speakers like that at Stake Conference! We have our Stake Presidency! Yeah, let us now what you find out! I too will look into this because I want to grow and develop more and a deeper level of my discipleship.

I know a family that has 6 girls ranging in age of 2 years apart. They all have dark hair and dark eyes. Their names all start with the same letter and each is a little different than the average "joe" name. Of course they all are different and if you took the time to know them you could figure it out. BUT, you would have to spend A LOT of time with them. Just general knowledge without having a calling where you teach them individually, you can't remember what to call them. Then you feel stupid because you don't know if it is Jacey, Jacinda, or Jamalya, or Jamie. Oh, I guess their second letter is the same too. I just think it is confusing. If each kid has their own name that was picked for them instead of if it matches, it seems they would be easier to differentiate when wanting to speak to one of them or call them by name.

Okay, I haven't had time to search for this info. The only thing I could find quickly was the (many) scriptures about the stars falling. In Institute the teacher said that many scholars believe what this means is that the earth will be moving very fast giving the look of stars whizzing by. I am going to find the other,. As well as all of the seasons and elements being in commotion. I heard on the radio today that London had snow last night, coldest night in 100 years. Florida had coldest night since 1800's. These types of things are why some people say global warming is a hoax.

Do you know people who have named all of their kids with the same initials? Like, David, Darla, Dean, Darlene? I hate it! When people have like 5 or 6 kids, no one can remember who is who and they don't have their own identity. ANy feelings on this one?

When the Word of Wisdom was first given it was a suggestion. It was later declared a commandment. When asked in a temple recommend interview, you are asked if you keep it. I think most people think this is about the addictive stuff and not the finer tuned wording about how much or how little to consume of any one substance,\

I really hate seeing the polar bears starving because they can't get out on the ice to hunt seals. The starving bears aren't a hoax. A friend of mine suggested this phenomena may be the unnoticeable shift in the earths position as prophesied for the later days. Makes sense to me. All of the earths elements are supposed to be in commotion. Also the seasons are supposed to be blended so that they will not be as discern-able as in days past. All of these things are signs of the times.

This play is different than the one we did. Ours were set up in different rooms. Like King Herod was in one room and he would talk to the people and tell them about being King & how he wanted to know where Jesus was, he gave out candy rings. Mary and Joseph were in another room with nativity set up and real baby, one room had angels singing, one room had shepards, they gave out candy canes, 3 kings searching for Christ were walking the halls asking people if they had seen Christ. , so forth, Then we had guides, dressed like angels taking tours through the "town". Each one scene was supplied with props and costums by each group. There were more scenes but I don;t remember.

WE did this play several years ago when I was activity chair. It was the best EVER ! I made murals on large rolls of brown paper then hung them on walls. We had a dinner first then we sang Christmas carols while everyone got in their places. Instead of using the colors of red and green, we used the traditional Jewish colors of blue and white. People ooohed and awwwed when they came in. After they went on the tour everyone came back in cultural hall and we ate desert then sang Silent Night at the end. If you are living in an area that is not large LDS area, I would invite the neighbors near the building and tell member to invite friends and family. You might want to save money and cut work by just doing desert after instead of having diner too. Make sure to take pictures! I don't have the script anymore but would also like a copy f anyone else has it! good luck! You are doing well by starting now!!!

Mormons aren't vegetarians but many vegetarians are Mormon. Whether meat is consumed in winter or summer, it should be eaten sparingly. When this was given, science had no clue about cholesterol, parasites in meat, high fat, so forth. So this advice was given in a time that only God could have known this. This is one of those things that proves Joseph Smith was a prophet.

SO, he has a 5 working days left of his vacation. I don't see any selfishness in asking if he can help. One day notice is better than no day notice. Like I said before, even a half day would help.

What do you mean by holiday? sick leave or vacation time? My husband gets both. He's been working over 35 years at same job and has lots of both. Since i don't have kids at home I don't need him to be there if I am sick. If I did though, I would ask him to stay home also. Taking care of a home and kids is hard work, much harder than going to work in an office. At most offices you get to take breaks, lunch hour, have talk time with other employees, less frantic stress, and things that need immediate attention. My husband has the type of job that it is hard for him to at the last minute decide to stay home. If your husband is like this, then, asking him to come home after lunch might work better. If he can take off at the drop of his hat, you are feeling so bad you can't handle, then YES, and in my opinion, he should. If you have only asked him twice in over a year and you have these health problems, I think you are doing very well. If he s so healthy he can ride 8 miles a day plus work, then he is much more able than you to be able to handle these kids and stresses when you feel this bad. If however he still won't do it. call your visiting teachers. someone should be able to help you at least by coming by to take the hardest for you to handle. Plus, people, especially men get their self esteem and image from their job. If he is doing this well, he might like to go to work too much! since there are only 2 months left in the year, why wouldn't he?

You can also go to Itunes and type in LDS music under podcast. there are like 3 different podcast but the last time I tried to download weekly, they didn't keep up super well. There are a lot of LDS podcast though. some talks I haven't seen anywhere else. there are also scripture, SUNday school lessons & stuff.

You better believe they won't teach staying chaste and pure! There is a couple who give talks and seminars, and have few books that are LDS on this subject. Maybe you could go to Deseret Books and put it into the search engine. Through sad experience I have learned that children DO need to be taught certain things about this by their parents at an early age. They need to know about how sacred their body is and that we have to protect it. They need to know that there are not nice people who can do things to hurt them if they are not educated. They also need to know on a very limited basis how sacred relationships are between husband and wife so that YOU have taught them this BEFORE they learn ugly stuff somewhere else. Yes it is a shame that we have to do this, but we are in the latter days and you have to protect them.

It's okay. It took me a while to learn the stuff and I still am! I love his story and have seen and heard it several times. There are a few videos of this but each is different. I'm looking forward to seeing it. thanks!!!

Okay, think about this one. you said I want to believe like our church and our Lord does, but I'm afraid that no matter what approach i've taken, my head and my heart are still sending me two completely different directions. It's exhausting, and I'm tired of reading and praying and fasting only to get the same answers I knew I would get, but still the same old reaction I always have had to those answers. If you already know the answer, then Heavenly Father can't give you his opinion. This is the problem with people who pray to know if the church is true when they already know it isn't. If you are struggling with these issues because of your feelings before you joined the church or you are struggling because you have thoughts or temptations, I don't know, but each of these are addressed in a different way. If it is because of how you felt before you joined the church and you don't understand why you should change your mind, you are still dealing with and struggling to overcome the teachings of the world, or the adversary. He has had so much power for so long good people are actually beginning to agree. SO you need to study it out. Be patient. Learning about God's ways doesn't happen over night. You didn't learn the worlds way over night. But if you're struggling because of temptations, then it is because Satan doesn't want you to lt go of these ideas. He wants to keep you miserable. If when you have expressed your opinion at church and you were met with hostility, it was due to those members immaturity in the Gospel also. WE are all learning and progressing on a different level.
