I think it\'s because they have used a different font. I find it more difficult as well. The Times New Roman that we see right now is too busy. We need a simple sans serif font that has less going on. :)

Keep your comments coming. Also keep in mind things like emoticons, thanks buttons etc were add ons with the old site. Hopefully they are coming. But we wanted to get the site up and running and then work on some of the other things.

I don\'t mind the colorful graphic look of the site (I like it, actually...the old one was out of date, whereas this looks quite modern), but I otherwise agree with Jenamarie and Mnn. There\'s too much negative space, quotes within posts aren\'t obvious enough, and the forum lists are spaced too far apart.

Yes, I\'m finding the format unpleasant to look at.

Too much garbage (colors, boxes,etc) on the forum pages, too much white space on each post, both distract from the purpose of the forum.
I see a change theme button but it does not appear to do anything.

Where is the New Topic button? I hate going through the forum headings one at a time - ugh.

PS- those warning posts are from 3 years ago - even after upgrading and *perfecting* this forum, they still can\'t get rid of that!! (sour grapes)

I am having difficulty reading anything. I didn\'t have that problem before. If I change the settings to bigger then other sites I visit are big too and don\'t fit on the page. Irritating.

I\'m probably going to whine for awhile.

FWIW, the Salt Lake Tribune website is currently headlining a story that OW claims it will have 500 supporters present at the Tabernacle, who will be coming from (among other places) Germany and South America. And they have--get this--hired the Salt Lake Police Department to accompany them on the Main Street Plaza.
One wonders, when the dust settles, how many thousands of dollars dollars these five hundred women will spend to get to and stay in Salt Lake City during this publicity stunt--er, respectful and good-faith attempt to attend a meeting they were not invited to and into which they have been told they will not be admitted. But of course, they only want the priesthood so that they can minister to the needy more effectively.
Ah, well. If they don\'t have the time or interest in changing history one life at a time, at least they can maybe merit a footnote in a history book somewhere . . .
