    I don't want the list for my stake, I want it for my personal use.

    I'm just recently returning to being active in the church, and I have been recently going through my own music collection, trying to see what I should keep and what I should get rid of.

    What I've basically been doing is just playing through my whole play lists on my comp and just deleting, things I don't think are appropriate. This could take a while though, to go through my nearly 85gb of mp3s.

    Though the list would give me some ideas..

    I'm really stuck on a few things...

    1. Does one instance of a profanity make a song bad?

    2. Does the intensity (for lack of a better term) make it bad?

    3. Does any sort of indirect drug reference make a song bad, even if its not explicitly implied.

    aka...Deep Purple - Smoke on the water .....good / bad?

    and some other things that are kinda hard to explain, so I'll leave it at that

    Well if the song by Deep Purple Smoke on the water is inappropriate....I've been a bad girl most of my life. I like that song. :hmmm:

    Hmmm Well sorry MrsS for trying to just have some fun with a friend that I've had for 9 years. At least this was all in fun and not mean spirited like some threads can be. I apologize for tiring you.

    Nah sorry its just kinda late and im tired so its hard to think. But her mother is so protective with her around men and then she can just go walk into the bishops office alone with no other people around?...........I'm questioning how this is right.

    you know whats right and whats wrong.........you must be really concerned with what she is going to say in there.........

    Actually I'm just having a hard time understanding why anyone would be concerned about someone going in to speak one on one with the Bishop. Has nothing to do with him being an older man. I'm with Palerider (heaven help me I'm agreeing with him). But I'm feeling there is a bit of anxiety in worrying about what she might say in there.

    Hi everyone

    My name is Pam and i have been a member of the LDS church for a total of 8 weeks now. lol..

    I live in the UK.. on the south coast.

    Im still having lessons from the missionaries and i am loving it so much.

    This week i get my first visit from Home Teachers ..not sure what to expect there..sure it will be good though.

    Im looking forward to getting to know you all.

    Hey I remember Ray Stevens and The Streak!!! LOOOOVE it! :sparklygrin: I wonder where I could get a recording of that !!!

    BTW, I do NOT know what I'd do without all of my brothers in law -- my late hubby's brothers. They take care of my children like their own, and they take care of me, in the handy man deparment. Big cheer for some wonderful gentlemen and their wives!!!

    Seriously John doe is a great brother in law. SHHHHH don't tell him I said so though. He has helped me in many ways. Example changing a fuel pump on my car in the middle of a parking lot in pouring down rain. He's great and I love him. But again. shhhhh don't tell him I said anything.

    Poor John Doe.....related to Pammie........ :o ........... :wow:

    It pains me to see the powers that be hassle and criminalize the young skateboarders in this country, only because they can. Nevermind the crackheads sleeping in the park, get rid of those filthy stinking skaters!

    Okay my high and low for today.

    Going to visit my parents for Mother's Day. Always wonderful to spend time with them. That was my high.

    My low....we took my dog on the 2 hour drive and she threw up in the backseat of the car. :angry2:
