Parents who have daughters save their whole lives to give a worthy husband gifts and money etc. And that used to be sufficient, however now a days after newlyweds are married these husbands are unsatisfied and want more from their in laws, and they threaten and often follow through with setting these women on fire. I dont think this thred means we dont care. I think it is food for thought, look at these situations through our Heavenly Fathers eyes, What do you think he would do? What has he done in the past? I know Mormon women who can be as Amillia described and they are not that way just because they are Mormon either. Church Providing Emergency Relief in South Asia Disaster Area 28 December 2004 SALT LAKE CITY — Regional and local leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Asia are providing immediate assistance to disaster victims in the nations of South Asia affected by Sunday's earthquake and tsunamis. Local resources, supplemented by humanitarian funds from Church headquarters, are being used to purchase emergency medical supplies and other materials in the affected countries to speed relief to the most heavily impacted coastal areas. A Welfare Services representative from Salt Lake City and the area welfare manager for Asia are traveling to the disaster area to complete an assessment in cooperation with government officials and international relief agencies. Assessment is an essential first step to ensure that assistance provided will be most effective in meeting needs and relieving suffering in this devastating tragedy. "We are heartbroken to learn that thousands have lost their lives and extend our deepest sympathies to the families whose loved ones have perished in this disaster," said Bishop H. David Burton, presiding bishop of the Church. "We believe in the power of prayer. We encourage all to pray for those who are suffering as well as for those who are providing emergency relief." Given the magnitude of the disaster, the Church expects that a major humanitarian response will be required. All missionaries of the Church serving in the disaster area are safe and accounted for. Yeah, but what kind of help do people in heaven need? I suppose none if you dont believe in the 3 degrees of glory. Telestial = Newport jetties at low tide, 2-3 feet with onshores and 60 degree water and 80 guys between the jetties whose every second word starts with "f". Terrestrial = Salt Creek on a warm summer day with no wind, water temp 68 degrees, small crowd, 4-5 feet on a rising tide and only an occasional closeout set. Celestial = Trestles with light offshores at 5-6 feet, with the ability to call up a bigger set on demand, water temp 72 degrees and me and only a few good friends/family (that whole "same sociality" thing coupled with eternal glory) on the water. I suppose I could be creating my own surf spot in the Celestial, but I don't think I could improve much on the Lord's work this time around with this particular spot. Oh -- and no trains running, so I can take the shortcut across the trestle instead of hiking a mile back from the beach. And a cooler with that really good Peach Snapple that they don't make anymore. hahaha! Perfect! I see we're from the same neck of the woods =)

Why sets of 3? The longboarders sitting outside always get the first one; everyone scrambles for the second, and if you miss the third one, you have to wait until the next set. I'd say sets of 4, with light offshore winds and a rising mid-level tide. Not a problem, Im up for comprimise =)

I hope its near a beach, with perfect waves that come in sets of 3 =) water temp around the mid 70's warm crisp air. and a sun that sinks into the ocean at the end of the day. sounds like heaven to me =) Hmm can I be age 18 and stay there too? =b
