It just aint worth it, and I mean heck, I tried just bein friends with her a long time ago, but she couldn't even respect me as just a friend, so now I just don't talk to her anymore, I mean what else do you do?

Lol it's ok, testimonies are super cool too.Now, about your dad... I suppose I'm not really going through anything like that, but I do have a couple of friends that are in the same kind of situation. For your dad, just show him the kinds of things that would make us out to be every day, ordinary people just like him. A lot of people get the image of us "Mormons" as being fanatical religiousists who are going to shove green jello down your throat until you join. THAT IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. Maybe if you found out someone he knew was LDS, but he didn't know that, then you could tell him that. That way, he already knows the person. Anyways... that's about all I can think of right now, just present us being normal people that's all.

What's with society is what I would like to know. It's unimaginable how many kidnappings, murders, suicides that happen every year. Why is it, that we only really seem to hear about a select few though? Take these for example, the recent Mark Hacking case, and also, the Elizabeth Smart case. So many more people in the US have been kidnapped before, so many people in the US have been murdered before, but we never hear about them... why should we care so much less about the child of a poor latino family that got kidnapped, than the child of an upscale rich family. They're equal, but never seem to be made out as such. Don't get me wrong, my heart still goes out to Lori Hacking, and the Smart family, but there are so many other people who have had things like this happen to them before that no one ever goes by hearing about. I find it wrong that the media will only focus on the cases of rich families or intriguing scenarioes. I suppose it's only natural of them, they're only in it for the money. What's with Society?

Yeah, one of my best friends kept telling me that Harry Potter was very demonic and that it was one of the most rank books in the world, but think about it. IT'S A CHILDRENS BOOK! Honestly, people who think it's demonic, you might as well call a lot of other things demonic, for example, I can see LOTR being far worse than Harry Potter.It's just some fad that a religious leader decided to start up, and now it's turned into this big ol flame that's spreading to other religious leaders. Most of them are even claiming it to be like Dungeons and Dragons demonicish. That's where they get all of their revilings from.

I honestly don't know... I'm having a hard time right now at this point in my life deciphering whatever my heart and soul are trying to tell me. Not just about this, but too many other things. I've decided, I'm not going to give up at least. As long as she can't drag me down. I guess I'll just have to see how the school year starts out.

I suppose you guys are right. Right now I have another dilemma though =] lol. Well anyways, I like this girl, but she kinda fell out of the church in Jr High, and I'm just gettin to know her better day by day. Some people have been telling me to not get involved though... like I don't know what to do, I'd like to see if I could get her to come back, I mean her family is all active and all, so I can't imagine it would be too hard right? I don't know whether to give up or keep trying, some of my friends are saying I should give up so that she doesn't drag me down with her... I'm not sure what to do.

Man, I hate this all... all of you were right in opposing me, and only now do I see it, now that it's too late. This really sucks. Everyone of my friends, everyone I've ever told any of this to had told me to get away from her, and to not get into any of this... they were all right, I can't believe how stubbourn I was not to listen. Things just aren't the same anymore. Relationships frighten me now, I'm scared of what might happen... can't I just find someone who has values and is willing to stand up for them? Instead of someone who wants to drag me down with them? Egh... well, as an update as to what's happenned recently, I broke up with her awhile ago, reason being, she couldn't respect me at all, even cheated on me. I just don't understand what went through her head, and how she thought all of this wouldn't happen... now we're not even friends, I mean, I've tried just being friends with her after all of this, but she can't even respect me as a friend . It's all so stressful...

I'm justa wonderin' now that I'm 16 and all, what all that my parents would be ok with. It's strange now that going out on a date isn't totally against the rules anymore. So yeah...

Yeah, it's too late now for me to save my first, but I'm glad that I at least waited till I was 16.

Yeah, don't worry about it, I've got the book. I know you guys are like all against this, and I'm a pretty well mannered guy. I won't do anything stupid, that's just the way I am. There is a difference between kissing, and passionate kissing though. Would say, a peck on the cheek or just a quick kiss on the forhead count as passionate? I can't see that those would do any harm, or do you disagree?

Yeah, I know what you mean. At least things will get a little bit less complicated soon enough, it's 19 days until my birthday. Plus, her parents have postponed the age that she can date until she is 16 and a half.

Yeah, I might have to use other computers. I guess I really shouldn't be complaining considering all the other people in this world. I mean, if you think of all the 3rd world countries, they barely have enough food to live on, they wouldn't know what to do with a computer. I suppose I'll live on, I'll just have to forget about it.

You guys, my Dad forbade me to ever go to the site FictionPress ever again. The site is basically a place where you can write poetry or fiction and people can read it and review. Writing is a huge part of my life and without it, it is going to make my life oh so much more boring. How can I improve my writing skills if I can't get it criticed? The reason he said that he won't let me go there is because there is bug that seems to get our computer every time (for some reason it doesn't happen to any of my friends) and changes the home page of our internet. Sure this is a nuicance and all, but we have Ad-Aware to get rid of those files and I've been able to get rid of them every time. It's the same bug, and it really presents no problem, my dad just can't seem to handle it. I really want to be able to go back, but I don't know how to convince my dad. Have you guys got any advice?
