  1. I just looked up united order.. It doesn't look like that's something we're doing now. Why do you say that? Thanks for your thoughts! :)
  2. But rather bartering and trading Amungst ourselves. (Our services, crops, physical goods...)
  3. My husband would like to find out who he did baptisms for if at all possible. Apparently the night after we went he dreamt that a large group of soldiers thanked him. It was a neat experience for him, one he realizes may have been a neat coincidence, but he'd love to find out if possible, if it could have been a real thank you from his brothers. Thanks guys!
  4. With all due respect, I did not mean to say Asian at all. People are Asian because they come from Asia. That wasn't what I was asking. And maybe more people didn't jump to try to correct me because trying to help me felt more important than trying to correct me.
  5. We've been taught how Cain and Hams seed were darkened. And laman and Lemuel's as well. But I have Always been baffled as to how the oriental race began. I mean I realize we are all different, but it seems they are so distinct that perhaps something happened at one time to make another separation between the people? Sort of like when the languages were confounded at the Tower of Babel or when the lands were separated after Noah (I think that's right...). He wanted the children to scatter and multiply.. Anyway, I've always been curious about this.. Could the scripture we haven't been given yet reveal this? Any ideas? Thanks for listening guys! :)
  6. I was raised to believe we would all be called to Utah in the last days, though I'm not sure if it is real doctrine. Also, I've been told we would have a Mormon president eventually. Is this rumor urban legend or another piece of doctrine? Thanks guys!s
  7. Like a public parade is an exclusive affair. (Sigh) I understand in society things will happen that we don't like. I never said a word about this o anyone but my family until I heard it was going in in church as well. Anyway, thanks for the responses guys, I'm new here and am sorry my first post is a complaint!!
  8. Oh, and I forgot to mention, yes the tarps and lawn chairs are set up for the parades several days early. How do we even stand a chance to ever attend? It's a joke. And it makes the community look thoughtless and selfish. Sorry to be harsh! But it feels that way to me.
