  1. I think you have totally missed the point I was trying to make
  2. I am not for a second taking away from the thought, devotion, time or emotion that was put into making the scrapbook... And putting it on a door step (when you know the people are home) is not exactly a "hit & run".. Just another way to make the giving of the gift anon... To some people it is a great idea... Possibly the whole idea is to ring the doorbell & not be at the door when it is opened... Ever thought of that?
  3. Yay!!!! I look forward to seeing it
  4. .... when I am just about to go to sleep (I am usually the last) and everyone is asleep & I go in to check on my son... And I watch him as he sleeps & just watch him breath :) I am curious as to how you would finish this sentance Dr T :)
  5. Daily Gems Feelings of Peace to Remember during Difficult Times --------------------------------------------------- "One night as I was praying and crying [after my mother's death], I felt comfort fill my body--suddenly and powerfully. The feeling restored me; it gave me peace. It did not last long physically, yet it was immensely comforting. I knew what it was--the Lord's love encircling me and granting me peace and strength. But just as important, that moment has remained in my memory as a sweet gift to unwrap and remember when life is difficult. "Sometimes, too, the moments of love and the resultant peace have come unexpectedly and when there has been no need--no particular problem or issue I have been facing." Topics: peace, discouragement, loneliness, love (Kathleen H. Hughes, "Remembering the Lord's Love," Ensign, Nov. 2006, 111)

  8. "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
  9. Awww Dr T... I am truly sorry to hear that
  10. In some cultures it is the norm for adult children to live at home & even for young a young married couple to move in with a spouses family... There are even some cultures where a whole house is filled with varies members of a family with thier spouses & children. For me personally the best thing my parents did for me as soon as I had my first real job was to ask for room & board from me... At that moment in my life it seemed like allot.. Now when I look back it wasn't all that much considering what it was costing them for me to stay at home.. I still did my usual chores.. But what did change as far as chores went was that I had to now do my own laundry... I did eventually move out for a few years.. They let me move back home after I got engaged so that I could save up for my wedding & life with my hubby...
  11. How so?? How about giving it to her at your next FHE? Or get one of her family to put it on her pillow so that she will see it when she goes to bed.. Or even get one of her family memebers to put it in her car on one of the front seets.. That way it will be a nice surprise for her & a great way for her to start her day :)
  12. Yea Think that one has allot of flags? We passed a taxi the other night with almost twice as many flags on it
  13. This year will be our second Merdeka Day (Merdeka = Independance) I couldn't not share it :) http://merdeka.virtualmalaysia.com/
  14. A Senior citizen drove his brand new BMW Z4 convertible out of the car salesroom. Taking off down the motorway, he floored it to 160Kmh; enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left. "Amazing!" he thought as he flew down the N1, enjoying pushing the pedal to the metal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a police car behind him, blue lights flashing and siren blaring. "I can get away from him - no problem!" thought the elderly nutcase as he floored it to 180Kmh, then 220, then 240Kmh. Suddenly, he thought, "What on earth am I doing? I'm too old for this nonsense!" So he pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the police car to catch up with him. Pulling in behind him, the police officer walked up to the driver's side of the BMW, looked at his watch and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 10 minutes. Today is Friday and I'm taking off for the weekend. If you can give me a reason why you were speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go." The man, looked very seriously at the policeman, and replied, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a policeman. I thought you were bringing her back." "Have a good day, Sir," said the policeman. ----------------------------------------- I thought this one was good
  15. Silly billy... It's the 4th floor not the 14th... And it's the blue door... Not the pink one
  16. You are at the right door, silly
  17. Ooooo, A rocking chair is a great idea.... I have almost put myself to sleep in one a few times You could also look into getting a new cot.. Maybe one of those that you can rock.. He might like that :)
  18. Perfect timing... The red carpet has just come back from it's annual cleaning
  19. If you were to move his cot into the lounge would he sleep in it? What I read when it came to bedtime (especially at night) was to make it as different as possible to the usual nap time... That has worked very well for me... I havn't had a problem with little man sleeping through the night... He has been since he was about a month old... Yay for me But I had planned to do controlled crying & had read up a bit about it... I was really dreading getting to that stage... And was very relieved when I didn't have to..
  20. Of course you are Acez... I would never have a party with out you Tooth #2 has been spotted
  21. Yea, maybe called camping cot Speaking of which... What kind of cot do you have for your little onei bunnzy?
  22. Hehehe My little one has been sleeping in a camper cot since he got home from the hospital... That way when we travel we can take his be with us
  23. What you might like to try is to take him shopping for a new toy... But a bedtime toy... One that he can only get to "visit" in his cot... And hold only in his cot... My little one has a little white lamb that he really loved to hold... But he only gets to hold him at bedtime when he is laying in his cot... Another thing you could also try it get one of those cot mobiles that light up & play music at the same time... What might work with this is that the light shines onto the wall or roof & shows different shapes... He might like this little disraction. You could also try playing some music.. I know that you can get some bedtime songs or maybe even classical music.. I hope that these help you a little...
