I have so much family that are Baptist that if I weren't lds, that's probably where I'd be....

My husband does. He loves hunting...but will defend his home & family if necessary too. He don't depend on no police for protection...that will be there after the damage is done...

Lol i always thought that's why general authorities were so old...They're retired & got social security & ain't got nothing better to do...lol i guess I'm naive too. I didn't know that. Lol

I just moved to the Cassville branch. I was nervous when I first found out I'd moved into a branch. I'd never been in a branch & was scared I'd have 3 callings. Lol well it doesn't look that small & looks like a really good family I'm anxious to get to know.

Is her name too sacred? Or is it because there's probably more than one? As to why she's never talked about? Either way, the silence we have toward her makes me grieve as a mother. If i was ever ignored by my children i couldn't imagine the pain I'd feel. & this also makes me dread having my own spirit children & creating worlds. I don't wanna be treated like her. A part of me has always liked to pretend that the holy spirit is her...As there's no better comforter than mother...but i don't know that...

I always interpreted that to mean that's how important family is to our heavenly father, which is a beautiful thing...& i do believe that's how he became god.

I know my husband, who's a convert, went inactive when he broke the word of wisdom, confessed & was asked not to pray & was then called onto pray in Sunday School & he had to decline. He felt humiliated. & he didn't wanna go back...

I've struggled with this for years, but I've become accepting of it recently. I've met too many polygamists & find myself even envying their lives. The love the women share. The close friendships they have. Their burdens are lighter. & when you have such love for your fellow sisters you want them to be happy too. I've found myself becoming eager to share my husband with a very special, righteous lady whom I love someday.
