Hi Sheelah, It means "to do more good". Which is truly what I hope we all will accomplish out here on the net, as we spend our precious little time with one another lifting, teaching and sharing what we have been blessed with, and in return to give it back. This is a contant reminder to ME, that I will always remember to never leave anything behind but what I feel is an offering of more good. This can be very challenging depending upon where one treads in cyberspace and who one encounters. Thus my suggestion to read Second Timothy Chapter two, which I feel is most important. But I personally can be very aggresive in defending the faith and need to remember meekness, as I have found that knowledge unto teaching is the very best defense. Pure testimony filled with the spirit is the Armor of God that we all need as we step out into this world of the unknown and desire to make an impact "TO DO MORE GOOD". :) Thanks for asking, tdmg, gVr

The evidences of the Book of Mormon as a true record come from God, as well as establishing Joseph Smith as a true prophet of God are astounding and fan-tab-u-lous when studied indepth. It appears as though you have been given some wonderful insights as well as sent in a good direction to begin a facinating discovery for yourself. We shall enjoy hearing of your journey to come. Wait until they challenge you on the Pearl of Great Price! And they will! Get ready for this, but fear not as the evidence here is as compelling if not more of this young boys connection with God and how God has prepared to stand behind him. I love Second Timothy, Chapter two. May you read it and gain immense strength and counsel from that which Paul gave unto Timothy and no doubt was of tremendous benefit unto him. I love Paul, for he was such a wonderful defender of the faith, for his cause was the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all things and he never allowed others to sidetrack his teAchiNg of his master. Hi there:-) Just want to add a bit of clarification on this comment. I hope you don't mind, as this is a common misunderstanding and taught this way by most in the church. I remember hearing it this way in a church class myself and thinking it sounded reasonable then, so I bought it as well. Just think how it would be IF we could be ready to be that righteous all at the same time and have that power over Satan and his evil influences. But that is not how things are going to go down. No way, it is going to take the coolest angel around, even the Ancient of Days himself, Adam. He dealt with him before in the war in heaven and he will have the honors of taking the key and locking that bad dude up for 1000 years! Won't that feel GOOD for father Adam? Do I hear a SHOUT OUT? HALLELUJAH! Hello All! I appreciate all of the wonderfull insights and opinions that have been shared by all. I personally believe that the prophet Joseph Smith has given the most conclusive statement that can be made, if applied to this subject, when he said: "If a man gets a fullness of the priesthood of God he has to get it in the same way that Jesus Christ obtained it, and that was by keeping all of the commandments and obeying all the ordinances of the house of the Lord. (italics added) (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, JFS) We believe that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, thereby setting a perfect example for each one of us to FOLLOW. When he invites us personally to "Come follow me", He does so by inviting us to do this through the receiving of His Holy Spirit. The Gift of the Holy Ghost leads us into all truth IF we receive Him. As we study the scriptures deeply with His Spirit as our guide, we will see these truths for ourselves without any confusion at all. If you have not read the TPJS as yet, I would recommend it highly. Hi Everyone... I am new, but this thread caught my eyes as I love Lehi's dream. I thought I would just add a little addition for those of you who may be continuing to study this amazining theophany. L@@k for the wonderful temple symbolism throughout this dream as it is connected then to Nephi's desire to also see and know what his father did see and know. Notice how the main items (or symbols) of the dream are then taken into Nephi's experience and are then explained in a much more panoramic way, but still maintain a very personal application. Very very temple-like. You will also notice a pattern or path in the dialogue IF you are very observant as was Nephi, when told to LOOK and he beheld... Enjoy, gvr
