Moksha Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 If he wanted to play cards, he should have stuck with an Uno deck. So is Sarah Palin a relative of Michael Palin from Monty Python fame? If so, she could probably deliver the lumberjack vote. Quote

Bethie Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) (yesterday I started a thread similar to this and it was shut down immediately! what a difference a day makes!) Romney was my first choice, not because he is a Mormon, but because he is a good and honest man, full of integrity and openess. I met him in Salt Lake City and his aura was one of extraordinary kindness, strength, spirituality and goodness. I thought I'd be terribly disappointed if he was not chosen, but I am surprised to find that I am happy with Sarah Palin. She is a Christian Conservative and I believe she will work to bring Christians together and promote an atmosphere of openess and dialogue, that is sometimes shut down by those who may not be firm in their faith or refuse to be open to discussion of the inclusion of spirituality in politics. (please forgive me, if this was "political", it's just hard to separate the man from his calling) Edited August 30, 2008 by Bethie Quote
Bethie Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Mitt Romney is a true family man and an inspiration to those who are learning about the Mormon faith. He walks the talk. I'm so glad I got to meet him. Quote
kona0197 Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 I told you all this would get political... Quote
pam Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 I told you all this would get political... I vaguely remember getting a message from someone just recently asking me to please not ban them. Quote
MichaelPAGuy Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 If you know who would get elected, Do you think he might offer Mitt Romney a spot in his cabinet? If so, what spot? Maybe Secretary of State? Quote
