Just wondering about opinions on the fourm: In general do you believe things are happining as they should? Is life bringing to you and mankind meaning and purpose? Are you excited and happy about how things are turning out? Is this the best world possible?

That said, I am VERY happy with the way things are. I do think this world is the best possible.

I am not wise enough to suppose anything should be changed.

The Universe is unfolding as it should.

2. Is life bringing to you and mankind meaning and purpose?

Life is an adventure. We keep learning and growing both individually and collectively.

3. Are you excited and happy about how things are turning out?

There are so many ups and downs. I really like the ups.

4. Is this the best world possible?

No, Tau Seti 3 has us beat. Can't say for certain about Enish-go-on-Dosh or Obliblish.

5. If you could change anything - what would it be?

My daughter and I would like to see the two sequels to The Golden Compass. I would forever ban telemarketers and multi-level marketing. I would have OPEC cut their prices in half (they would still make a huge profit).

Of course.

For the most part mine is.

I am excited about the stuff that is exciting and makes me happy. Less so about the other stuff.... but it is all just part of life.

Is this the best world possible?

Of the others I have seen pictures of, and the probable conditions of the ones that have been discovered outside our solar system, this one is the best.

Or if you could change anything - what would it be?

I can't, so I do not worry about it.

Life: defined by the basic verbs: work, eat, sleep and play. It's nowhere near as complicated as people like to make it.

I think things are happening as they are...I'm no judge as to what should and shouldn't be on that scale

It's not Life's responsibility to bring my meaning and purpose, that is my responsibility to use what's been provided to bring meaning and purpose into my own life.

I'm just happy to be here - I'll take the good and the bad and make the best of it.

4. Is this the best world possible?

I'm always striving to make this world just a little better so I believe improvement is possible.

5. If you could change anything - what would it be?

Everyone would see others as they truly are. i.e. if someone's mean and cruel, they'd appear as an ogre etc. If they are good and honest etc they reflect that in their appearance.
