62.4 percent Mormon as of 2006. From what I recall, SLC is like 50-50 whereas some other counties are much higher.

As it turns out, Utah, a predominantly Mormon state produces more scientists per capita than any other state in the country and has done so for 80 years or so.

And for proof, one only has to look at the best of the year's display at the State Fair.

You will find them somewhere between the banana squash and the sweet gherkins.
